OVGTCLegends is our weekly Saturday series in Assetto Corsa using the Touring Car Legends mod organised by Gent

Gimmick

At the end of each race the Wheel of Misfire™ will be span to determine your car for next week. Cars will be allocated in order of the current standings after the race. Individual drivers can reroll any spin once, and only once, for the entire series. Only drivers who have had a car spun for them may reroll, and a spin may not be rerolled if another driver has already rerolled it.

You have approximately 10 seconds to inform if you want a spin to be rerolled after the spin, do this by shouting or typing on mumble or twitch.

You can only get the same car once, so if you get the same car again it is automatically rerolled. This reroll does not count toward rerolls used by drivers.

If you skip a week, you still have to use the car you were previously rolled and any driver who joins in after the spins will be assigned a random car a day before the next race.

For new signups there will be a car rolling stream 1 hour before the race.

Car Setup

You need to lengthen the gear ratio on some cars, stock setups work fine otherwise. Heavier cars like Mustang, Fairlane and AMG need their ARB's stiffened for fast sweeping tracks, otherwise your inner front tires might start lifting.

How Do I Connect to the Server?

Open browser and connect to IP: 5.9.248.186:8081

If you can't connect server is probably turned off. Practice in SP or ask some sysadmin in Mattermost to turn it on

Restart Procedure

Race will be restarted if needed. But probably not

Rules

Two races, 15 (or 20) minutes each +1 lap. First race is quali, second is full grid reverse.

Don't drive like an idiot, and pay attention to the flags.

Don't flip Marko Tulska. Unless it's Flip Marko Tulska Day or if flipping him would be really funny.

Track Limits

Feel free to run wide on corner exit, just expect to be called a faggot and insulted in public especially if you wreck someone because of it.

Skins Guideline

I ain't doing skinpack this is Assetto Corsa and nobody wants to do 18 skins just in case.

FAQ

- Presence on Mumble is not mandatory, but highly encouraged.

- While the series is open for anyone to join, please practice until you feel comfortable around the track before joining the race.
