OVGTCLegends is our weekly Saturday series in Assetto Corsa using the Touring Car Legends mod organised by Gent

Gimmick

Each week your car will be a random one decided by the Wheel of Misfire. The spin of the wheel will be streamed on twitch. The spin will take place right after each race. The order of the spin will be current standings on the doc after race points have been done. Any driver who joins in after the spins will be assigned a random car a day before the next race. Each driver has 1 reroll for the entire series. This reroll can be used on any spin. Only one reroll may be used on a single spin, so you can't reroll if someone already rerolled that drivers spin. You can only get the same car once, so if you get the same car again it is automatically rerolled, this reroll does not count toward rerolls used by drivers. (I just can't be fucked to edit the wheel every time)

You have approximately 10 seconds to inform if you want a spin to be rerolled after the spin, do this by shouting or typing on mumble or twitch. Only drivers who have a car spun for them may reroll.

If you skip a week you still have to use the car you were previously rolled.

Car Setup

You need to lengthen the gear ratio on some cars, stock setups work fine otherwise.

How Do I Connect to the Server?

Open browser and connect to IP: 5.9.248.186:8081

If you can't connect server is probably turned off. Practice in SP or ask some sysadmin in Mattermost to turn it on

Restart Procedure

Race will be restarted if needed. But probably not

Rules

Two races, 15 (or 20) minutes each +1 lap. First race is quali, second is full grid reverse.

Don't drive like an idiot, and pay attention to the flags.

Don't flip Marko Tulska. Unless it's Flip Marko Tulska Day or if flipping him would be really funny.

Track Limits

Feel free to run wide on corner exit, just expect to be called a faggot and insulted in public especially if you wreck someone because of it.

Skins Guideline

I ain't doing skinpack this is Assetto Corsa and nobody wants to do 18 skins just in case.

FAQ

- Presence on Mumble is not mandatory, but highly encouraged.

- While the series is open for anyone to join, please practice until you feel comfortable around the track before joining the race.
