Rules

Two races, 25 minutes each 8 minute qualifying before both races.

Race starts will be standing starts.

Some races may be at night, remember to bind a button for headlights.

Don't flip Marko Tulska. Unless it's Flip Marko Tulska Day or if flipping him would be really funny.

Skin Submission

When setting up your .veh, change the CATEGORY= at the bottom from whatever car you stole it from to: OVGroup2. It makes the skin pack look neater with your own liveries in one category. Make my life easier and set up your .zip that you email as [car folder name]\[your name].

The DefaultLivery= line should be [the name of your dds].dds

Feel free to play with the GenString if you know what you're doing.

Any skin submitted after 03:00 UTC on each Saturday will not be accepted into that week's skin pack, unless you feel like bugging me about it on Mumble or the bread because then I'll probably wait.

Read the Google doc for the email.

Example .veh:

Other Things

Grinding Tranny Plugin

Grinding trannies in real life is cool but in game it sucks. Only use it if you're some kind of retarded LARPer who wants to go slow. Go into your Plugins folder and delete everything related to it.

Halp I Need Moni

Enter a test session and type ISI_BABYFACTORY into the chat. Case sensitive.

How 2 Drive

These tires are from the 60's, so don't be afraid to slide the car around a bit. It's sometimes faster.

The Brakes

They're also from the 60's, which means they are terrible. Optimal temperature range is 150-450c, which you'll pretty much never be able to hold unless you want to drive like a grandma. Expect the brakes to fade really hard after only 3-4 laps, or even earlier depending on how heavy/fast your car is. The cars also don't have onboard brake bias adjustment, so I'd suggest setting the bias up for when the brakes are overheated rather than when they're fresh.

Wat Car is Gud

Easiest to drive: Lotus Elite. It's also pretty slow.

Fastest: Lotus Elan. If you use this and you don't win you're a bitch.
