How Do I Connect to the Server?

Create a shortcut of Launch rFactor.exe (in Launcher folder) and in the Target line enter +connect 5.9.248.186:64297

Restart Procedure

Race will be restarted if needed.

Car Choice

No limits. Pick whatever car you want and feel free to change cars every round.

Rules

Two races, 30 minutes each. Random time of day. Rolling start. Do not pass the cars in front of you before the start/finish line.

Bind a button to turn your headlights on/off. If you don't have your headlights on if the race goes to night, you will get disqualified. If you have a potato computer, go to your player.JSON file located in USERDATA\player\ and change the line Max Headlights= to 3.

Don't drive like an idiot, and pay attention to the flags.

Don't flip Marko Tulska. Unless it's Flip Marko Tulska Day or if flipping him would be really funny.

Track Limits

Feel free to run wide on corner entry/exit, just expect to be called a faggot and insulted in public especially if you wreck someone because of it.

FAQ

- Presence on Mumble is not mandatory, but highly encouraged.

- While the series is open for anyone to join, please practice until you feel comfortable around the track before joining the race.

- These cars use varying amounts of ABS and TCS in real life. Do not be ashamed to activate them if you are struggling.

- If you are experiencing low fps and your game seems to be in slow motion, try reading this.

HOW MUCH FUEL DO I NEED?

1800(which is 30 minutes in seconds)/leader's fastest lap in seconds=amount of laps for race.

Look at your HUD (the one with the tachometer in the middle and the lap delta at the top) and at the bottom right it shows you your fuel left and how much you use per lap. Multiply that by the amount of laps for the race.

ex. On a track that takes the leader 1:30 to get around: 1800/90=20 20*3.10L per lap=62L needed for the race. Don't trust the in game fuel calculator.

Wat Car Iz Gud?

If you don't really have any idea what you're doing, especially in the setup menu, use the Callaway Corvette. That car is the easiest (which usually means fastest) to drive out of the box for someone new. Just make sure to use Soft tires and set the tire pressure to the lowest.

Very Basic Not In Depth Setup Menu Help

First off, if you're a second or so off pace from the leader, it's you and not the setup that's causing issues. Though making your car more comfortable to how you drive can make your laps faster, it's not always true.

Must do's are setting your tire pressure to the lowest, and setting your Anti-Lock Brakes to the highest setting. Soft tires will last the whole race, but they may become a bit out of control for you later in the race if you're not ready for it.

If the rear end of your car is sliding out coming out of corners, lower the rear anti-roll bar or raise the rear wing if its on a high speed corner. Raising the Traction Control level may help too, but all of these problems are probably just your right foot being too heavy along with you not understanding weight transfer.

If your car is understeering too much going into or out of corners, it's probably you and not the car. Slow down, be smoother and more patient. If you're absolutely sure it's the cars fault, (it isn't) lower the front anti-roll bar if it's doing it going into corners, or raise the rear anti-roll bar if its doing it going out of corners.

If you think you can handle it (and it doesn't hurt to try in practice), set your brake bias as far rearwards as possible, also make sure your ABS is at the highest setting. This will greatly increase your turn in when trail braking.
